Understanding Online Schooling
Online schooling combines the flexibility of learning from home with the structure and support of a traditional school environment. Students attend live lessons taught by qualified teachers, complete assignments, participate in class discussions, and receive regular feedback on their progress. ✓ Opportunities to develop independence and digital skills
✓ Reduced travel and commuting time
✓ Access to a global learning community
✓ SEND and dedicated support
✓ More varied subject options
✓ Fun extracurricular clubs, activities, and social opportunities
Why Do Families Choose Online Schooling?
Families choose online education for many different reasons. Some are looking for greater flexibility, while others are seeking a learning environment that better suits their child's individual needs.

Online schooling can be particularly beneficial for families who travel frequently, are committed to a sport, require a more personalised approach to education, or are looking for an alternative to traditional schooling. Many parents also appreciate the opportunity for their child to learn in a familiar and comfortable environment while maintaining access to experienced teachers and a structured curriculum. Every student is unique, and online learning offers the flexibility to support a wide range of educational journeys.

Our online school teaches children from all backgrounds and with a wide range of learning needs, including students who compete in sports, have SEND requirements, were struggling in mainstream schooling, or travel a lot. Our pupils learn from all around the world, with recorded lessons for flexible catch-up, and live classes that provide an engaging and interactive setting that promotes inclusivity, understanding, and a love of learning.
Supporting Your Child's Success
A successful online learning experience is built on a partnership between students, parents, and teachers. While students are encouraged to develop independence and responsibility for their learning, family support remains an important part of their educational journey.

Creating a consistent daily routine, encouraging good organisational habits, and maintaining open communication with teachers can all contribute to a positive learning experience. It is equally important to support a healthy balance between academic studies, hobbies, social activities, and well-being. Our aim is to help students develop not only academically, but also personally, building confidence, resilience, and the skills they need for future success.

Our online school focuses highly on communication and keeping parents and students up-to-date with progress, important news or information, and feedback. Our parent-teacher meetings and 1-1 mentoring help to ensure every child is provided with the support they need to excel.
Student Wellbeing & Community
One of the most common questions parents ask is whether students can still enjoy a sense of community while learning online. While the experience differs from a traditional school setting, online education can still provide meaningful opportunities for connection and engagement.
Through live lessons, assemblies, community events, student-led initiatives, and collaborative activities, students are able to build relationships with their peers and feel part of a wider school community. These experiences help students develop communication skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging alongside their academic studies. Student well-being remains at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that happy, supported learners are best placed to thrive.

Our online school offers a wide selection of extracurricular clubs and activities, providing engaging social opportunities for our students across primary school, secondary school, and sixth form. We also offer a social hub where students can put forward their ideas, communicate with peers, and have fun outside of classes. The addition of our student council now also provides leadership opportunities for our learners, building key collaboration and critical thinking skills.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answering some of the most important questions asked by parents
How do online lessons work?
Lessons take place live through our online learning platform, allowing students to interact with their teachers and classmates in real time. Students can ask questions, contribute to discussions, and participate in activities just as they would in a traditional classroom environment.

Our classes are kept small, with 10 or fewer students per class, allowing for more interaction and individual support. Teachers tailor lessons to meet the needs of the class, providing feedback and ongoing guidance to every learner.
What equipment does my child need to get started?
Most students require a reliable internet connection, a suitable computer or laptop, and access to the school's online learning platform. Full technical guidance is provided during the enrolment process to help families get started.

Our online school has tutorials and an annual welcome meeting for all new students to watch or attend when they enrol. Our 7-day trial also provides the opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with the platform before enrolling. We also keep our learning platform as easy to navigate as possible, with access to our help desk should you have any concerns.
How are students assessed?
Assessment methods vary depending on the student's age and programme of study. Teachers regularly monitor progress through coursework, assignments, quizzes, class participation, and formal assessments where appropriate. This helps ensure that students remain on track and receive the support they need to succeed.

Our 1-1 mentoring and parent-teacher meetings also help track progress and report back on how students have been doing in their lessons, and any areas that require a little more focus to help prepare pupils for their futures.
Can parents track their child's progress?
Yes. Parents receive regular updates regarding their child's progress and achievements. Open communication between home and school helps ensure that families remain informed and involved throughout the learning journey. We are dedicated to building strong relationships between our teachers and parents, enabling open communication about student progress and engagement.

We also regularly contact parents regarding announcements and attendance, so families have the most up-to-date information on their child's school activity and school news.
How much support will my child receive?
Students receive ongoing academic support from their teachers, including guidance during lessons, personalised feedback, and opportunities to ask questions. Our teaching staff work closely with students to help them build confidence and achieve their goals.

Our online school has a strong focus on individual support, enabling more flexibility around communication and camera policies, promoting well-being, inclusivity, and a welcoming community for all children.
Can students study from outside of the UK?
Absolutely. Online learning provides flexibility for families based around the world, making it possible for students to access a high-quality education regardless of location. Our online school currently teaches children from all around the world, bringing together a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and traditions. This makes our online community incredibly diverse, helping our students learn more about the wider world and building key skills.
