How On-Demand Lessons Work
The online live classroom lesson takes place and is recorded from start to finish.
The recorded lesson is uploaded to our state-of-the-art online learning platform.
All past and present on-demand lessons are stored for students to access 24/7.
Students can easily access their missed lessons, or lessons needed for revision, on our online learning platform.
Where To Find On-Demand Lessons
We will take you through a step-by-step guide on how to access your on-demand lessons below. Make sure to sign into your account before starting: My Online School
1. On our online learning platform, if you select the 'My courses' menu option, you should see a page that appears similarly to the example in the image above.
2. Next, scroll down until you see the class you would like to join and select the subject you would like to access on-demand lessons for.
3. After selecting the subject, you will be presented with a screen that looks similar to the image above.
Step 4. Scroll down the page until you come across 'Lesson Recordings'. Once you select it, you will be taken to Dropbox where you can find all of your on-demand lessons for that subject. The folder should appear similarly to the image above.
All on-demand lessons, for every subject you have been enrolled for, can be accessed in the same way on our online learning platform. We recommend taking time to explore our online learning platform, before your first virtual lesson, so you can get used to the layout.
What Are On-Demand Lessons Useful For?
Our on-demand lessons have a variety of uses depending on the students needs, some of these include:
Revision

Note-taking
Preparing for next term/year
Revision: On-demand lessons are perfect for students who are looking to revise ready for exam preparation or for improving their skills/knowledge.
Catching up: For students who have missed their online live classroom lesson, it allows them to catch up ready for their next virtual class. On-demand lessons also help students to not fall behind in their subjects.
Note-taking: If students missed anything in their lesson, that they may be unsure about, they can revisit it on-demand to take down extra notes at their own pace.
Preparing for next term/year: On-demand lessons help students to revisit their classes so they can prepare for building on their skills in the next term/year. They are also a great way to get back into online learning if the student has had a long break away from their lessons (for example summer holidays).
Our on-demand lessons provide students with a flexible online learning experience as even if they cannot attend their live lesson, they can still quickly catch up before their next class.
